- Synopsis
- Phillip Van Horn (Trevor St. John) escaped the small town of Cuba, Missouri with dreams of being a famous actor. After a long stint in Hollywood, Phillip returns to his hometown with hardly any credits to show for his struggling career. Still, the town receives him as though he were a celebrity. He attempts to use this celebrity status to gain the respect of an old sweetheart (Mary Stuart Masterson). The troubled actor soon realizes he is not the only one from his class who has run along a difficult path. Running into his old crew, he discovers their lives are just as confused as his. George Hickenlooper directed this sweet independent film about confronting the past and facing expectations.
