Synopsis: The first attack with tanks took place on September 15 in 1916. The use of this new weapon was a hellish experience for soldiers defending the trenches, like Otto, as well as those, like Johnny, who were inside the tanks. For both soldiers, this event marked a distinct ‘before’ and ‘after’.
