Synopsis: In just twenty minutes this film describes the events that allegedly led to the 1946 German Social Democratic Party (SPD) and the German Communist Party (KPD) to merge into the Socialist Unity Party (SED). Forced union, agreed with the direction of Moscow and accompanied by numerous penalties, is presented as a democratic process of forming a majority in the various Länder and then focus the true fusion in Berlin.
