- Synopsis
- Teresa and Miguel, of 35 and 15 years respectively, get involved. Teresa is a doctor and, after a frustrated love life, she decides to abandon Lisbon and returns to her native land. When she arrives, she is welcomed with some hostility by her countrymen, with the exception of an old friend and her two sons. Immediately, a strong attraction between her and the oldest son (Miguel) of her friend is born. Teresa tries to fight against her feelings but she finally yields and initiates a relationship with the adolescent. The scandal blasts when the population discovers what is going on between the two of them, and Teresa is the one who ends up suffering the consequences.
