- Synopsis
- Adela Campallo (Seville, 1977), a prestigious flamenco dancer, is preparing a flamenco musical to commemorate the 100dth anniversary of the birth of the bailaora Carmen Amaya. Campallo is facing the most important challenge of her artistic career: to emulate the great Carmen Amaya. We observe as Adela researches Carmen Amaya's life, first watching filmed pictures of her. Her parallel struggle to get back on stage to dance flamenco despite all the obstacles, is intertwined with archival footage of Carmen Amaya's life. Reality, myth and legend are mixed allowing the magic to shine above all.
