- Synopsis
- "Anita" is the new film from director Marcos Carnevale. After the successful "Elsa & Fred" and "Touch the Sky", Marcos Carnevale back into the limelight with a sensitive film that tells the story of Anita, a girl who suffers from Down syndrome and lives with her mother in the Eleven district. On 18 July 1994, the bombing of the AMIA Mutual changed her life forever. Anita does not understand what happened, just remembers that her mother went to take a step and suddenly the earth shook. The noise frightens her and she decides to leave her house, gets lost in the big city where she began a long odyssey. She does not know what has happened, does not know what she is looking for and cannot comprehend the incomprehensible.
A few weeks after its release, "Anita" social interest was declared by the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires because of 'human content and its value as an example of esteem and social integration of persons with disabilities and recognized the outstanding work done by the Director Marcos Carnevale and players. The role of "Anita" was played by Alejandra Manzo, who was discovered after several castings and will surprise a lot.
