- Synopsis
- Online Series (2008-Present). Moncloa Palace is a cartoon created in cartoon format that is produced and broadcasted by the Spanish weekly El Jueves since 2008. The cartoon is a parody of the recent political situation in Spain, especially regarding the governments of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero (until the fourth season) and Mariano Rajoy, in fact the main characters of the series are inspired by them. It is set in a building that imitates the Moncloa Palace where the President exercises his functions advised by his ministers and where from time to time there are appearances of international political figures as some other characters. The animated series shows a very crazy President, proposing unrealistic or unrealistic solutions to the country's problems. Likewise, there are unusual situations that ridicule at times the ruler and those close to him. He also experiences embarrassing situations provoked by others, such as assaults or assassination attempts.
