Synopsis

3 episodes. October 2009. Three aid workers from a Spanish NGO operating on the border of Mali and Mauritania are kidnapped by Al Qaeda. This political thriller inspired by real events recreates the complex political negotiations for their release, the tension of the families, the struggle of the hostages to survive, the maneuvers of the secret services to locate them and, above all, the moral dilemma that the negotiation entailed for all those involved throughout the 267 days of captivity.
