- Victoria Stafford (Ginger Rogers) is a wealthy young woman who has been engaged three times, and who has changed her mind at the last second at all three weddings. She is engaged again and is determined to wed her fourth fiance, Oliver H.P. Harrington (Ron Randell), when she has a dream in which a man dressed like an Indian (Cornel Wilde) breaks up her fourth wedding. Upon awakening she is startled to find that the "Indian" from her dream is real. Various complications ensue until and after she meets her childhood sweetheart, the real-life version of her dream-man.
