Synopsis
Set in the the 1930's, a WWI veteran and war hero, Rannulph (Damon), reluctantly agrees to play a game of golf with two of the great golfers of the time - champions Bobby Jones (Gretsch) and Walter Hagen (McGill). Rannulph had been poised for golf greatness until he became a soldier in the war.

Nevertheless, he soon finds the game futile until his caddy, Bagger Vance (Smith), teaches him the secret of the authentic golf stroke as well as spiritual guidance which will help him master any challenge and find meaning in life.
