Synopsis

When Lelia (Francesca Annis), a temperamental film star who has just turned 40, is found drowned after a binge of drink, drugs and hysteria, everyone presumes suicide. But then the police realize she has been murdered. Everything points to Leila’s charismatic fiance Ted (Daniel J Travanti) but Elizabeth (Kristin Scott-Thomas), Leila’s younger sister, refuses to believe that the man she has come to love can possibly be guilty. She sets a trap to trick the real murderer into revealing his identity and almost becomes his fourth victim in the process. (FILMAFFINITY)
