Synopsis: King Koopa has kidnapped Princess Toadstool, taken over the seven kingdoms of the Mushroom World and put his seven sons in charge of all of them. The Mario brothers come to the rescue. Third numbered installment of the Mario saga for NES and one of the most acclaimed, being considered one of the best video games of all time. It was a great success at the time, generating a TV series, appearing in the movie "The Wizard" (1989) and sold more than 17 million units, in addition to having several remakes for platforms such as SNES (Super Mario All-Stars) or GBA (Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3).
