Synopsis

Marta Andreu (Sara Montiel), daughter of the director of a lyrical company, dreams of one day becoming the star of a great show. For now, she is only the assistant of Luisa Marival, the leading figure of the genre. Luisa has a contract with Argentina, but her employer makes her cancel the trip and, to avoid a lawsuit, Marta takes Marival's place, at least during the trip. But when she arrives in Buenos Aires, she will be forced to go ahead with the imposture... and the triumph occurs. The appearance of the real Marival puts Marta in a difficult situation.
