- Synopsis
- This documentary explores the life of singer-songwriter Silvio Rodríguez
(b. 1946 in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba). An icon of the Cuban Revolution and representative of the nueva trova style, Rodríguez learned to play the guitar in secret during his military service. After twenty albums and a career spanning forty - five years, he continues to be fully active in music and to maintain his commitment to culture through his recording studio Ojalá. This documentary is not only a portrait of the troubadour himself but also of Cuba over the last forty years.- Movie Soulmates' ratings
