- Synopsis
- RAIN ANYWAY tells the story of Lucien Vindeveughel, who is born magnetically. Tableware sticks to him, but his father tells him not to show it. He secretly dreams of a life as an artist and wants to conjure little birds. When World War I breaks out he comes into contact with a travelling circus, where he not only becomes an artist, but also grows up. However, once his old life draws him back in, he comes home disappointed, noticing that nothing is as it was before. He loses his talent and is no longer an artist, consequently unable to live a normal life. He doesn’t fit in world anymore, and the world doesn’t fit with him...
