- John Martin is a shepherd who lives on the hill with his wife, his little daughter and his dog Rin Tin Tin. They take care of the flock and, as the family rests, Rin Tin Tin stands guard. When various lambs of Martin's neighbours are found dead, Rin Tin Tin is accused of being the killer.
