- Synopsis
- The congress of the penguins is set in a land of dreams and nightmares: the Antarctic. Only a handful of people live in the ice desert surrounded by stormy seas. Using sophisticated instruments, they observe the worrying alterations of our planet: the hole in the ozone layer, climate change, warming of the oceans… On the edges of the Antarctic, one also finds the former pillagers’ collapsing bases where tens of thousands of whales, penguins and seals were slaughtered. They provide an disheartening picture of our relationship with nature, which seems to be characterized by insatiable and merciless greed.
