- Synopsis
- The story begins in April in the Masai Mara Reserve in Kenya. This year, the rainy season is slow in coming and prey are starting to run out. During a hunt, Simba, a caring mother who takes good care of her young, broke her leg. It is henceforth impossible for her to obtain her own food, and, diminished, she finds it difficult to find a place among the clan at the time of the meals. At the same time, the ostrichs, the little hyenas and the giraffes make, like the cubs, the difficult learning of life. Malenko, meanwhile, meets a crocodile smoothly while N'Gaya, the giraffe, the body attacked by injuries leaves the birds and parasites trying to cure it.
