Synopsis

When Teenager John returns home to his father after serving time in prison, he is looking forward to starting his life afresh. However in the local community, his crime is neither forgotten nor forgiven. It all begins when John returning to the rural farming community he calls home with his father Martin after a significant amount of time in an institution. His adoring younger brother, Filip, welcomes him with open arms, but the other residents resent John's presence. Classmates at school openly bully him. Inquisitive new girl Malin is horrified by John's treatment at the hands of the other teenagers and by his willingness to accept these punishments.
