- Synopsis
- Trick. A servant brings a visiting card to a nobleman dressed in 18th century costume, sitting on a terrace. A man enters with an album, bows, and sets the album on a bench. He makes it grow larger until it is bigger than himself and opens the cover to reveal the title Album Pathe Freres. He tears off the first page to reveal a picture of a lady in tights, screws the paper up and makes it turn into a young man. He then proceeds to tear off each subsequent picture and turn them into a young man or woman, each in a different costume. All the young people then pull at the man, who waves his arms around. The people disappear, leaving just their costumes (220).
