Dumping his turbulent mistress Eva was not among American writer Peter Simon's best decisions as the damsel is now determined to get even with him. The fury soon crashes into Peter's apartment and, after breaking everything around her, does nothing less as simulating her own murder. As for Peter, who has disappeared, he now gets trailed all at once by the police, by an amateur sleuth and by a newspaper girl in search of a scoop, the charming Françoise...!
