Synopsis: Becoming Colleen is a documentary about Colleen Young's transition process that, at age 82, enters a senior care facility. This work is about Colleen's love of his wife Heather who went beyond traditional gender roles and enjoy finding the perfect pair of shoes.
A simple and emotional work that, in addition to showing the reality of trans seniors above all, addresses the lack of specific spaces for LGTBI+ people in the care centers of the elderly.
