Synopsis

Story of five engagements in Spain in the late sixties. Emilio has three girlfriends: Gela, Teresa and Susan, he marries to the one who is more in love with him. Marcelino and Conchita do nothing but fight and his the mother-in-law who makes peace between them. Julia has just suffered a disappointment and she is hit by Federico, a bachelor who falls for her. Pepe and Lolita have to get married on the fast track which favors their plans to live in the in-laws house. And finally, the authoritarian Lucia sends Saturnino, her boyfriend, to Germany to earn money to get married, but when he discovers that there he has to really work, he returns immediately.
