- Synopsis
- Jorge and his brother Alvaro go to live with their mother's family shortly after their father's death. The household is ruled by their grandfather, a retired Francoist general who spends his time planning a military coup. Jorge begins to steal money from the old man and, in time, becomes rich--a fact that becomes problematic when the family falls on hard times.
