- Synopsis
- Fishermen return to the port, barely any fish caught. Hunger is devastating the country. An unknown man gifts sardines to some boys that are playing around, and they trust him when he says a big catch of fish is about to arrive at Alicante’s market. Word speeds from one neighbor to another with hope and happiness. Around 11 AM on the 25th of May, 1938, Alicante’s main market is full of expectant people, seconds before the bombing. “Oblivion” is an homage to the victims on the commemoration of the tragedy’s 80th anniversary.
