- Naked, bisected and battered, the body of aspiring actress Elizabeth Short was discovered in an abandoned lot in 1947 Hollywood, with no trace of the killer. Administering a generous dose of terror, debauchery and violence, writer-director Ulli Lommel revisits the starlet's infamous murder by leading a novice cop to link the almost 50-year-old case to a chain of horrifying present-day massacres by three deranged psychopaths.
