- Synopsis
- The devil comes to a small village and takes possession of a farmer and, in turn, the parish priest. In the struggle between good and evil are mixed motives from old legends with sultry erotic scenes, ironic swipes at the church, and a fear of male failure. "The Devil's Church" presents a remarkably original and unselfconscious juxtaposition of beautiful nature shots and grotesque distortions. Agnes Straub stars as a ravishing blonde seductress.
