Synopsis

Alfred Hitchcock had to do a soundtest for Anny Ondra, a German actress who was cast in his first talkie: Blackmail. Here we see Hitchcock, about 30 years old, with a head of wavy hair, testing Ms. Ondra's recording voice by asking her naughty, embarrassing questions.
