Documentary Acclaimed director Werner Herzog visits several active volcanoes around the world. Herzog and volcano specialist Clive Oppenheimer embark on a worldwide adventure exploring some of the best-known volcanoes in Indonesia, Ethiopia, Iceland and North Korea. Engaging with scientists and indigenous people in each area, they seek to understand the complex and ancient connection between humans and one of nature's great wonders.
