GameSpot
"Is the best game in the series. Supermassive delivered a great script this time out, and while it's more straightforward than some others that tend to lean on a mid-game twist, it's not without surprises (...) The Dark Pictures will have finally achieved its full potential"

IGN
"Is still capable of inducing the occasional jump scare, but for the most part The Devil in Me’s tour through a maniac’s mansion is disappointingly lacking in any real menace or surprise."

Polygon
"[It] doesn’t rank particularly high on my personal Dark Pictures ranking (...) But what the game does do very right is take a famous true-crime case (...) even while fitting in jump scares and relationship drama."
Canada
Screen Rant
"A grisly tale that far surpasses the games that came before it, with flaws few and far between (...) a substantial and sinful story full of dastardly deeds, classic crimes, and unabashed gore. The Devil In Me is a game that immediately deserves a second playthrough after the credits roll."
United States
The Washington Post
"A more focused, cohesive and experimental alternative to Supermassive’s bigger efforts (...) From a narrative standpoint, it’s tough to tie up all of a story’s threads when any one of them can end at any time, and “The Devil in Me” exhibits the usual flaws of that approach."
United States
Bloody Disgusting
"A clear amalgamation of Supermassive Games’ lessons learned of the past three years (...) I can easily see The Devil In Me sitting firm near the top of many fans’ rankings of the anthology. (...) Rating: ★★★★ (out of 5)"
