A servant girl is raped by a beggar in a castle dungeon and gives birth to a son. The boy looks normal but as he matures he begins displaying some strange characteristics, most notably a bad reaction to full moons: once a month, he metamorphoses into a raging beast, complete with fur, fangs and a thirst for fresh blood.
