Straight Up

Comedy. Romance Todd and Rory are intellectual soul mates. He might be gay. He doesn't like sex. He thinks he must be straight. She might not care. Todd is a hyper-articulate, obsessive compulsive gay twentysomething whose fear of dying alone leads him to a baffling conclusion: he might not be gay after all. When he meets Rory, a whip-smart struggling actress with her own set of insecurities, the two forge a relationship that’s all talk and no sex.

"Rory remains something of a cipher even after the closing credits crawl, which leaves 'Straight Up' feeling more like a therapy session for Sweeney rather than a truly equitable romantic comedy interested in multiple points of view"  NEU
