"What can we learn from 'Candy'? Outside of casting its stars with consistency, not much really. But sometimes that’s sweet enough (…) Rating: ★★★ (out of 4)"  POS

"The series oscillates between gauzy idealism and painful awkwardness, never quite sure where it wants to land (...) However, its performers make a valiant effort to give life to their flat, paper doll characters"  NEU

"This five-part Hulu series' greatest strength is offering its own emotional interpretation of a 1980 death rather than trying to offer a definitive version."  POS

"While it will work for binge-viewers as well, Candy is best consumed a day at a time. It may not raise the bar on the true-crime series genre, but Candy is a solid entry anchored by one of Jessica Biel’s best performances."  POS
