In Palestine, 1000 B.C., the Jews are ruled by the Philistines Samson, budding Jewish revolutionary, wants to marry Semadar, a Philistine, though it's her young sister, Delilah, who really wants Samson. The wedding becomes a fight in which Semadar is killed; Samson, scorning Delilah, becomes a guerilla whose strength defeats armies. But Delilah, now the Saran's mistress, believes she can discover Samson's weakness.
