Okay, the animation is bad. Heavy Metal bad. It's not easy on the eyes at all, but trust me, just go with it. By the final few 10 minutes, you won't care. Seriously, this is really really good. I loved the story arc, and didn't see where it was going until the those final few minutes. The violence was straight out of Metalocalypse, over the top hilarious. I recognized Patton Oswalt almost immediately but had no idea about Lucy Lawless. I loved it. Even if you're not into fantasy, it's 90 minutes very well spent.
Perfect film
I probably never would have watched this if it hadn’t been on shudder TV but I’m really glad I did. The story was very ambitious and I got into it. The animated violence looked great and I appreciated the inclusion of some male nudity.
Enjoyable and captivating
I'm not normally big on animated stuff even if it's adult themed but I truly enjoyed this for what it was , not judging too hard here though I was entertained.
