Barbie

I wanted to like this movie, but I don't feeling connected to it. the emotions in this movie fell forced. Love the visuals though. The visuals feel cohesive and well designed. Actors are great too, but the story itself lacks depth so is every character in it. Over all the story tellers bit off more than what they could chew in the topic of women's experience. And the story stay superficial through out the whole movie, which is disappointing.

Not worth the hype. I wanted to love it. So many people saying it was the best movie they'd ever seen..they must not have seen very many films..i loved my Barbies as a kid. The visuals were fun and spot on for a Barbie world adventure. I didn't enjoy the film. Ryan Gosling was too old for this role.

This was a split decision: 2 stars from one and 4 stars from the other. A lot of the movie didn't work but we liked what it was trying to do. One of us would watch it again.
