Just Married

Friedrich Bär, a successful independent filmmaker, marries Frangipani Klein, the daughter of an established Berlin cinema owner, and becomes the cinema king of the city. However, their honeymoon in Italy is about to be a disaster. After a year of marriage, their first child is born - but the relationship between Frangipani and Friedrich has hit rock bottom. After another year, the second child arrives, but the marriage is even worse and Friedrich cheats on Frangipani. On his deathbed, Frangipani's father succeeds in reconciling the two. But before that, Frangipani sleeps with a young man she sees in a club...
