Synopsis

TV Series (2018-2024). 4 Seasons. 34 Episodes. When the most important friend of her life appears to have vanished without a trace, Elena Greco, an elderly woman who lives in a house filled with books, turns on her computer and starts to write the story of herself and Lila, the story of a friendship born at elementary school in the 1950s. Set in a dangerous and fascinating Naples, the account that follows covers more than sixty years of life and attempts to unveil the mystery of Lila, Elena’s brilliant friend, at once her best friend and worst enemy.

The ten-episode 4th and final season premiered on HBO on September 9, 2024, and on Rai 1 on November 11, 2024.
