Synopsis

Otto Frank (Götz Schubert) hat als Einziger seiner Familie das Konzentrationslager Auschwitz überlebt. In der Hand hält er das Tagebuch seiner toten Tochter Anne (Mala Emde). Beim Lesen erfährt er über ihre geheimsten Gedanken und Sehnsüchte, ihre Träume von Leben, Liebe und Sex. Das Lesen macht ihn traurig, doch es hilft ihm auch. In seinen Gedanken denkt er zurück an das Leben zweier in Amsterdam in einem Hinterhaus versteckter Familien, das Anne so treffend in ihrem Tagebuch beschreibt. Er erfährt, was sie getan hat und wie sie alle Bewohner gesehen hat.
