- Synopsis
- Major Steve Garrett (Kirk Douglas) is given one of the biggest challenges of his career: defending four American GIs who gang raped a young German girl (Christine Kaufmann) while stationed in Neustadt during World War II. The only way he can possibly defend the actions of his client is too completely discredit the girl's reputation on the stands. A disturbing, provocative tale with a shocking ending.
