- Quique is entrusted with leading the politics of 'Empty Zones of Spain' in a town in Teruel, but he doesn't even know where to start. He faces alone a people willing to tease him about his modern proposals and, as if that were not enough, he soon discovers that sending him there is a plan of his girlfriend and the leader of his party so that they can be together. He can only count on his good will and on Lourdes, the bar waitress, who wants to prevent the poor man from continuing to make a fool of himself and to make him understand that the key to his success lies in learning to listen to his new neighbors.
