- Synopsis
- Maria Teresa Galvan, is a working girl in the restaurant of her aunt Griselda in Aguascalientes. Maite is engaged to Luis Antonio, a veterinarian widower with two children. Maite's misfortune begins when Adolfo Valladolid returns to town, he's the son of the most important family in the region. Adolfo, despite being engaged, becomes infatuated with Maite and pursues ger to have her by force. When Maite discovers she is pregnant, she goes to the church to disrupt Adolfo and Manola's wedding. Luis Antonio, learning the truth, beats up Adolfo and ends up in prison.
