- Synopsis
- Etchégor, a rich Basque peasant is in love with Majesty Parnell, a beautiful American woman whose husband seems to encourage Etchégor’s advances. On the verge of being arrested for robbery, Majesty’s husband counts on her complicity in order to create an alibi.
Particularly attached to the light, the scenery and the folklore of the Basque country, Delluc chose these settings that lend themselves perfectly to the director’s naturalistic will of shooting outdoors.- Movie Soulmates' ratings
