Synopsis

In 1571, Sacedón del Río is a very important town, with its castle, its sheriff and its market on Thursdays at the Plaza Mayor. Life goes on peacefully with its troubles, its loves and hates. For example, the "tinajero" is in love with the girl from the inn, but she doesn't answer to his erotic claims because he is married erotic. Melissa, the wealthy widow, is in love with the sheriff, but he is more concerned about the lace and perfumes than for women. The Duke is married to a beautiful woman, but his age doesn't allow him to have children, so he can lose the duchy, the castle and the lands. All these characters will be advised by an ingenious tooth-puller who, in its way, will try to help.
