- Pablo and Tino are brothers. Their parents separated when both were boys. Tino became Tina, after he went to live with his father. He began a relationship with his father, changing his sex to become his wife. A few years later, the father leaves her and Tina is no longer attracted to any other man, she has begun to hate them. Pablo writes screenplays and directs films. He is deeply in love with Juan, a charming youth who also loves Pablo. Unlike his sister, Pablo is not attracted to sorrow, attempting to rise above it though creation. He finds the best way to forget is to put down and develop on paper that which is missing in his own life.
