- Synopsis
- After "Stand Up, Nigel Barton", Nigel has graduated from Oxford and has a beautiful wife, a good job as a journalist and his political idealism untouched. When a Tory MP falls from his horse during a foxhunt, Nigel sets himself as a Labour candidate. Inspired by his cynical election agent, he sets off on the campaign trail of doorstep canvassing, motivating party activists and performing tub-thumping speeches. But he becomes disillusioned and disenchanted by empty political rhetoric, prompting him to explosively speak his true, sceptic thoughts.
