- Synopsis
- TV series (2014-2015). 2 seasons. 23 episodes. Series set in the years 1943 and 1944 in Los Alamos (New Mexico), a secret city of which the world knew nothing and where research was developed to build against the clock the first atomic bomb in history, before Nazi Germany did, and thus be able to end World War II. It was the so-called "Manhattan Project", led by Robert Oppenheimer and under whose command there was a great rivalry between two scientists: Dr. Frank Winter (John Benjamin Hickey), the established genius with a bad reputation at Los Alamos, and Charlie Isaacs (Ashley Zukerman), a promising young scientist who comes highly recommended and who wants to prove that he deserves to be there.
