- Synopsis
- A stylistically innovative account of the true story of Fatima. Filmed over 3 years with interviews with leading members of the WAF and the Fatima shrine, the documentary explores the facts around the "miracle of the sun" and gives an unbiased account of what happened. The events that happened in Fatima in 1917 hinged around the faith of three children who witnessed visitations of the Virgin Mary, which culminated in what has been described as the greatest miracle of the 20th century, a miracle that was witnessed by over 70,000 people and a miracle that was prophesized by the three children. The sequence of events that transcribed have had an impact that resonated across the globe, and nowhere felt the force of the impact more than in the village of Fatima, Portugal.
