- Critics' reviews
-
-
"A fast-paced sequel with some appeal for young video gamers, but without the eye-opening qualities of the first 'Lawnmower Man.'"
-
"There's no reason to look at this movie unless you're interested in computer graphics. But, if you are, why not wait for the video game? It may not be any better, but at least you can turn it off"
-
"The cheesiness has increased, but it's surprising how clever low-budget film makers can be when they throw every nut and bolt within reach into a film"
-
"Mowing the lawn might be more involving than watching this subpar sci-fi sequel, which manages to be complicated and witless at the same time"
-
"Darting around a futuristic Los Angeles on motor scooters that can fly, these plucky whiz kids are so indomitably cheery that they seem more mechanical than the demented cyber-messiah who tries to destroy them"
-
"No amount of computerized razzle-dazzle can make this insipid sequel worth logging on to."
