Synopsis
The story is in the genre of fantasy. It is set on a northern island in the village of the Pu tribe, a minority group. A ruffian named Kishore, who has been wandering the world, comes home unexpectedly. Surprisingly he brings along a young boy who claims to be his son. At the same time, a plan to develop an amusement park is underway in the village. In exchange for selling his land, Tsubasa, the leader of the village's youth group, wants to have a 'tribal village' built within the amusement park. However, the Pu people have forgotten all about their language, songs and dances. So, they are busy practicing their own folk arts, thinking that they will create their own traditions from now on. Seeing this situation, Kishore, whether it is a lie or not, says that the Pu have hidden treasures, and the people of the village suddenly become more energetic. Meanwhile, the boy goes to see an old woman, who is rumored to be 500 years old, and meets a mysterious girl there. As the girl leads him into the forest, he awakens to an ancient magic technology that everyone has forgotten.

This independently produced fiction feature is the first (and only) 35mm film by established experimental filmmaker and co-writer of Masashi Yamamoto's "Robinson's Garden" Mikio Yamazaki who worked mainly in 8mm format. Premiered at Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival.
